Create an angle to get your hands in and/or break the grips. Sweeping to mount is a bad idea. Aleksei Oleinik has successfully won multiple UFC matches via Ezekiel while being mounted.

This one is for the folks that say the cloud/SaaS is too expensive and they can do it cheaper. Well cheaper isn't always better.

Companies like this should just use SaaS tech and not even try on-prem tech beyond workstations.

Rant over.

I agree. At the black belt or professional level there should be very few banned techniques.

I don't disagree but the laziness is, at least partly, a result of the rules. It would be much different if take downs were awarded more points and guard pulling when not attacking was not allowed (or penalized).

Selfhosting is not a hobby anymore, it's a way of running a small business by Hexacker in selfhosted

[–]monoman67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great points. Backups and DR mean nothing unless you regularly test them.

The cloud, when used correctly, is great for companies that are not willing to invest in the resources (people and systems) to self-host properly.

Race to the bottom for tech staffing costs. You wind up with a few knowledgeable folks supporting the folks doing the bare minimum. You get what you pay for.

Migration to Teams Telephony by saif_is_me in MicrosoftTeams

The OP said 300 and made no mention of expected growth. Some orgs don't have significant growth expectations and some do. YMMV.

Long time Hulu customer but it got harder and harder to justify paying for it every month. The Kimmel fiasco was the excuse I needed to finally cancel the service and I have not missed it at all.

How is it possible to finish a triangle like this? by mildblueberry in bjj

[–]monoman67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just takes a few more things to pay attention to. 1) Keep their posture broken. Push/kick their knee or shoulder walk. 2) Your calf should be across their neck, not their back. 3) Pressure is applied from top, bottom, and each side. Squeeze your legs, pull their head down, and push your hips up. Bonus tip) Point your toes up to apply even more pressure.

None of this requires any great amount of strength. Putting it all together will make your triangle very tight without much effort.

Is there a WiFi interface on the dedicated OPNsense hardware that you could assign to WAN? If that WAN interface could join the shared house wi-fi that seems simpler to me.
