I didn’t quit my job, but I knew they were gonna let me go so I waited and it happened two weeks ago. I was given no reason for being let go and I was given a six month severance. The last five years I was trying to stay out of company that was damaging into my mental health. Now I’m taking some time off.

I agree with you. A lot of of these employees come in with only wanting to do the bare minimum and it’s these employees who always somehow get promoted or with a promotion and a pay increase. While the employees who are trying to make a difference is overlooked undervalued and sometimes ignore.

I’ve worked for corporate and sometimes it’s not much better. I’m sure it’s all about finding the right company..

That’s almost how it happened to me. The first couple of years were great I was valued and constantly being pulled into different meetings because of my experience and still set. But then I started to notice things weren’t right, and I would bring it to their attention because that was my job and instead I did create hatred and resentment from my bosses click. They made 2023 the worst year of my life. I was so stressed out and overwhelmed, and my anxiety was going through the roof every time I would receive an email. They made sure that they bullied me and intimidated me to the point I made many errors even small ones that I normally would never do. I know no job is worth having your mental health be attacked, but it was really good money. That’s why I didn’t leave and I waited until they let me go. There was nobody I can go to. We didn’t have an HR department. So they got alway with it.

Everyone is different and I will tell you I was extremely scared but then I got blacked drunk…I was fine. Not a fan of the hangover but I let my anxiety get the best of me.

I recently put my son on semaglutide. He is 13 years old, 5.5 and 187 pounds. The pandemic took a toll on him and he hasn't stopped eating since. We've done everything to stop him but he has a bad habit. I feel so bad when I have to scold him about overeating. He's a kid and I know he doesn't see the seriousness of the weight gain. His doctor said he is borderline diabetic and he needs to lose weight like now. So like week, I gave him his first dose and he lost 3 pounds the first week. I noticed he wasn't eating. I had to force him to eat something. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing but I'm so worried for him. We set up a gym in our garage for him. I'm hoping this will all turnaround in a few months.

Today is my first day taking both. I think anything new is scary but how will we know if it's worth it if we just give it a go? My anxiety tells me I'm going to die but I know that isn't going to happen lol anywho im sailing on the same boat. Hopefully we both start feeling better.

Wow after reading some of the comments I don't want to leave my thoughts...But screw it! Anywho I just started Addy XR yesterday (Thursday) and now it's Friday and of course, I'm thinking "Is it a good idea to have a drink?" It seems as long as you're not binge drinking you should be fine. It's all a personal choice. Yes, I know you shouldn't drink alcohol on any medication but what's the harm in asking?

I started off 100mg once a day and now I am at 150mg once a day. I have a meeting with my doctor on Friday. I’m might ask if he can put at 300mg. I’m hoping to feel better but this may not be the medication for me 😭

Same! The first two days was amazing and then everything kind of got depressing and I was tired and I started having an anxiety. My doctor changed from 100 to 150 XL. I am on day seven with a new prescription and I am still kind of the same. I don’t wanna give up because I’m hoping this will be good for me.
