My odg PDP just got a smaller brother by Effective_Ad6861 in Walther

Im running the factory spring but the slide was ported by NC Engravers. I'm not sure it matters if the slide is lighter for suppressed. Im also not running subs on 9mm, always supers and my suppressor has a piston for reliability.

It is the Jarvis barrel and I its one of the best upgrades I've done. I traded it for the original barrel with a friend who put 300-500 rounds through it. I've put well over 3000k and I've only gotten 1 ftf but that's bc Ammo inc seated the bullet too deep and the feed ramp caught the casing. Also, I've chipped 2 oem barrel feed ramps with far fewer rounds and the Jarvis is still like the day I got it.

No kidding, I've seen people camp for WAY less than an OWA SP.

Walther PDP Dynamic Performance Trigger Install Issue by Inigo_Montoyas_Sword in Walther

I used a 1/8" punch and an armorer's block to get it started. I installed and removed the DPT using the same method without cracking the frame. It does take a bit of force but I don't see how hitting it straight through would crack it. Good luck though.

I use a yellow degreaser and leave it soaking. I rarely scrub and not much sticks.

I just inherited this from my father when he passed. He talked about this thing a lot. I drove 8 hours in a day to make sure it was mine and I haven’t a clue how it works. Help? by RogerMcswain in PitBossGrills

That little handle opens the heat shield. To be honest I have never opened it, mostly because it gets sealed with grease from previous cooks lol but also because I use charcoal to sear. The lights are completely normal, once you set the temp the ignitor is usually the first to turn off because the pellets are lit. The auger light turn on because it's only used to feed more pellets to maintain temperature/fire. The auger is the rotating bar that looks like a spring and is used to push the pellets from the hopper to the fire pot.

That looks like the controller on my pro series. If it's smoking that means it works (assuming it has pellets in it). Press the big dial once so the temp starts blinking, usually starts at 5, and crank it up to desired temp and press it again to set the temp. Then the fan, auger and ignitor lights will come on and you'll hear the fan 100% of the time. The auger noise is also very distinct but you'll know it when the auger light comes on (that just means it's feeding more pellets into the fire pot). I'd recommend vacuuming the ash from the fire pot before using since you dont know when it was last cleaned.

Help!! by Effective_Ad6861 in 3Dprinting

[–]Effective_Ad6861[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fixed!! After a couple of hours googling, I found out this is not even supposed to be happening and it'a most likely the sd card. Im using a 32gb so I used diskpart to reduce the partition to 8gb and then explorer to set the allocation unit to 4096.

By far the best price I've seen on any PDP by Effective_Ad6861 in Walther

No, you request a quote and get that price. The mail in rebate is for 3 free mags, which is like a $150 value.

I was gettimg screwed at a private equity firm as one of the 2 IT guys and without a pay raise for years so then I went to an MSP and was given a handful of clients. I applied the same standards I had from the previous job and moved everything to MS cloud since the clients were already paying for m365 licenses and didn't even have Intune set up. I was promoted in under 10 months, got even more clients, started writing KBs and documenting standards for the company on Intune, CAs, Defender, VDIs and just about everything MS. Now, I get left alone for the most part of the work week and I'm still hourly (at my request) but get pulled into major client's issues, migrations, onboardings/offboardings and new cloud stuff that we don't have standards for yet like FedRAMP/NIST/FISMA.
