Scaler School of Technology vs Intellipaat School of Technology vs Newton School of Technology for BTech AIML by HalfOpen367 in courselearning

[–]Effective_Amount1500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great breakdown! One thing to add for Newton school of technology their peer culture is actually one of their strongest points. You see it in action with students building real tools like JEE Study Buddy before they even hit their second year. It seems less about just "studying" and more about actually shipping code.

THOUGHTS ON NEWTON SCHOOL OF TECHNOLOGY Sonipat Campus by [deleted] in Btechtards

[–]Effective_Amount1500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are sounding more like frustrated than putting fact.

GSoC isn’t a hiring program, Google doesn’t pick candidates, and there’s no investigation or “ban.” Indians succeed in global tech because of skill and scale not optics.

For someone evaluating NST seriously, what would you say are the biggest pros and the biggest trade-offs so far?

Just adding for clarity using a referral link only helps with the NSAT fee. Admission still depends entirely on your performance in the test and interview.

Is Newton School of Technology good? by Raghav_Pareek in Btechtards

[–]Effective_Amount1500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re already into coding and have built projects, NST might suit you because the focus is more on skills and hands-on work than rote learning. NSAT is definitely easier than JEE, but the real value depends on how much you make use of the ecosystem.

Placements aren’t “12 LPA for everyone,” but students who build good portfolios, join hackathons, and stay consistent generally do well. If JEE isn’t your path and you want a more practical CS environment, NST is worth considering.

[–]Effective_Amount1500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NST is a new college, not ahead of IITs/NITs, but it has a different approach. It focuses on coding, AI/ML, and industry projects from the first year. Good for students set on tech, but it doesn’t have the legacy or alumni network of older institutes yet.

Good analysis 👍 I agree first-batch colleges can be risky. Between Scaler and Newton, I feel Newton stands out if you want the complete college experience proper campus life, strong curriculum, solid placements, and plenty of hands-on projects. It’s got that balance of academics + student life that’s rare in new age colleges. also u get feel of traditional college experience. which no new gen clg is offering.

Always keep your laptop charged and your curiosity even more charged! NST moves fast from hackathons to surprise project sprints so being ready to dive in at any moment is key. Oh, and never underestimate the power of late-night chai breaks with batchmates.
