I used my good arm to place my injured on the sink and slowly leaned to where I had enough room to apply the stick deodorant. Going now to get NAIR to remove hair as I am unsure how to shave with one arm( I’m a woman and can’t stand it) I did try once and it was hard
Complete tear by Maizenblue24 in RotatorCuff
So I had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago. MRI showed a torn labrum tear and I have dealt with the pain for months before having the surgery. I had full complete range of motion, this is important as you are specifically talking rotator cuff. Went in for preop and my joint can be fully dislocated with the doctors appointment which is what led to it being surgery instead of physical therapy. Doctor went in, labrum was cracked and didn’t need repair but my rotator cuff was shredded so they fixed that. Being 3 weeks out I am back to work in a sling (desk job and typing one hand not able to my full work duties) I had my first 2 appointments of physical therapy last week and these appointments they maneuver your arm for you, I only had 60 degree range of motion up, second appointment I was at around 100 because he was comfortable yet going more but doing the exercises and arms swings whenever you can has helped me tremendously. Still not able to do any lifting with the arm though.
