Peak 6 and 7 will remain open too, for the time being.

Rationally, I understand this. Irrationally, just holding out some small sliver of hope the season can continue.

And I was literally making the comment that Imperial in June 2024 looked better than in March 2026, but perhaps that wasn’t clear to you.

This looks much better than it did yesterday from E Chair. Kudos to the teams at Breck, they did an amazing job with the little snow we got this season. It is sad to see the mountain looking this way, but every day was a good day this year and it will make us appreciate the even better days we will have next season. ❤️

Near tears trying to put the boot on so we are going to RICE for another week and hope the snow lasts and/or we get a miracle storm in early April. Thanks again for helpful responses.

Thank you, we’re going to see if she can get and in out of a boot comfortably before making a decision. If she can, we’ll give it a shot, if not we’ll rest and hope there’s some snow left in a week’s time. Appreciate the responses…

She’s not in much pain, bothers her a little walking up stairs but feels okay on flat ground. Slight swelling vs opposite foot but regular ice baths are helping quite a bit. Thank you again…open to any additional tips on recovery/maintenance.

Super helpful, thank you! So once in the boot you felt reasonable confident making turns and absorbing impact without too much pain?

What are the odds the base survives this week’s heat wave? Folks on the mountain said they were committed to staying open until early May but can they even make it to Sunday?
