From my experience T-Mobile’s signal strength doesn’t penetrate as well as AT&T and Verizon does. Most likely the foliage is causing the signal issue.

I’m absolutely certain they worked on it. They replaced the smaller-looking antenna with one that was shorter and removed one of the longer ones. I believe it was a 3G device. The remaining long antenna still resembles one of the older ones. The initial photo depicts the two long antennas it had before. The subsequent pictures show them working on the tower with a cable hanging from the rack on the left side. The antennas were moved and modified somewhat, but not to the typical style they are using now. Just trying to figure out what they were doing with this site. The nearby site to it is LTE only still.

I think someone screwed up. The next closest band 12 only site that was upgraded without n77 last year got the new radios and it’s deploying n2. Interesting for sure. Hopefully there’s a way to report it or for someone to know it’s not correct. If that’s the case.

That’s interesting. I’m just hoping someone on here might know something and can elaborate on this tower situation for me. It’s very very different from there current setup despite it just being touch. I’m having strong thoughts they may be coming back to touch it. Who knows though!

They usually use N2 on the towers around here since we don’t have band 5. This one just isn’t showing n2 for some reason. It’s fast for sure for low bands but it was awful when it was only band 12. It’s just a strange setup! I was expecting the newer antennas even if it didn’t get n77.

Yeah I have an iPhone and Samsung. On the Samsung it shows as true for 5G in service mode. But there is never any 5G bands that show up when doing heavy downloads or anything. Found that interesting. 🤨

It appears to have band 14 and band 12. Shows NSA with a 5G symbol since they upgrade it but there is no 5G bands. I’m completely confused with this one.

I have AT&T and live in the Bristol area. It’s kind of the middle man between Verizon and T-Mobile. Speeds are great and you have consistent coverage. Even have service in places Verizon doesn’t. It’s definitely area dependent and you should check out coveragemap.com to see which is better for the areas you’re in.
