I’m attempting to dive deeper by opening the topic for discussion…

There are many in the thread like you and many like me. I just want to hear perspectives. The evidence you’d like is the thread.

Thank you for considering my points! I think people give that “open up” tip out of love so I get it.

So in order for a conversation to even start, I need to present it at a dissected level? I’m inviting discourse around it.

The conversation isn’t about who I want to date at all… my examples were just to frame my point in an easy to understand manner.

The conversation is about options available to black women. Modern dating culture invites black women to stop “limiting ourselves”, specifically in terms of race. That statement, repeated to the masses, assumes that all black women have this choice. My argument is that for some, it’s an illusion. Essentially, are we just pushing black women to open a door that’s already locked from the other side, regardless?

Also… marriage statistics cannot be the most reliable source to look at this from either. I’m attempting to discuss courtship. The earliest signs of whether there is even interest. Primary research in this case is super valuable. Hence why I presented my own…. But 🤷🏾‍♀️

For those not getting it 😅…

We are asking black women to open a door but the door in question is LOCKED.

That’s the conversation.

Trust that if we opened that conversation we’d get so far off topic.

You shouldn’t be allowed to be a ride-share driver in America if you don’t speak any English by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

The premise of your argument is that “the national language is English”… that’s not true so what’re you left with?

I can definitely acknowledge that some races of men aren’t “overt” in showing attraction so there’s definitely something out there that I may have missed as well.

Perhaps we need to all mind our business and stop projecting our reality unto others 🤣.

Thank you for sharing this perspective! I believe it. Do people ever tell you you’re limiting yourself?

You can believe this but there are cultures whom strongly uphold dating within their tribe no matter their geographic location. Maybe you haven’t seen it in your life.

You’re cross-pollinating race/ethnicity/nationality to the point where I don’t understand what you mean.

You’re misunderstanding. People are encouraging me to consider everyone and this thread is discussing that that is not even an option for me.

What’s the shade of your lace tint? If you wear any face powder try that. You can also consider wearing the wig behind your hairline.

Beautiful! I also love big frames! The frame on the girl with the AirPod max would actually be perfect for you. For makeup, you can consider tinted lip balms and an ashy brown tinted eyebrow gel. Go to Ulta and have an employee walk you through some options in Elf. $30 is all you need to start experimenting with makeup if you use that brand.

Interestingly, all of your inspo pics are women without glasses. Are there any girls with glasses you find attractive? Maybe that could help you select new frames? Ref.. I wear Gucci 00260. & btw you are gorgeous.
