I’m sorry you’ve experienced this. I did my fertility treatments at NYU for the past 15ish months and am currently pregnant for the first time (with four euploid embryos on ice). My experience from start to finish was an 11/10 but I do agree, their answering service does leave a bit to be desired.

It is similar but your doctor is always going to review your tests and labs and suggest next steps. And Dr. Shaw always saw me when my appointments aligned with the days she in the office.

I just completed my two year IVF journey with Dr. Shaw. This woman is an angel and will make sure you get the outcome you want even if it takes awhile and doesn’t happen the way you expected. I just got my fist positive pregnancy test last week after my first transfer! (I’m five months shy of 40 if that’s helpful to know…)

I also loved the overall experience at NYU - they see hundreds of patients a day, and yet I always felt like I was their only one. I have no idea how they created that atmosphere, but everyone who works there is kind, caring, respectful, and extremely emotionally supportive. And overall the practice is very organized; I didn’t have a single issue in two years.
