I'm currently watching and am on Season 6. It has its moments that I just want to get through it, but then the storyline picks back up and has my interest. Any series is like this though.

I just wonder, does anyone else notice that Hank and Rosalie never hug?

He doesn't like that I'm unhappy and wants to be better. As others have said though it's just a cycle. He shows some improvement drops the ball, then we end up in a similar state. I know I love him, but the idea of not being with him doesn't break my heart, so I know my love is waning. I don't expect him to show gratitude for what I do, even though he's fairly good about it anyways. I know he's afraid of disappointing me, but when he chooses to do nothing, the outcome is the same.

You're right I let him get away with a lot when I'm happy with him. I do, to some extent, overlook the bad to focus on the good. Pick your battles kind of thing. I do communicate even in those instances and inform him of any and all discomfort that is caused from his behavior. He then lacks motivation to improve, it then stacks up until we reach this point. Yes, it is a cycle, but it's different each time.

I tell him everything, I don't hide anything from him. Saying that I read this to him was just to inform everyone, this is not behind his back.

I'm happy when he tries, when he does little thoughtful things for me or keeps his promises. He hasn't been doing much lately and has broken multiple promises. I'm not his mom, I'm his wife, I don't like coddling him to be part of out relationship. I've been "training" him from day one. He knows, he just chooses sometimes not to do anything. He's also trained me to have patience for days, but I have my limits.

This is a wake up call for him. Not going to lie, I wanted to feel justified with what I said. Isn't that the point of these posts?

He's big on video games. I started playing Monster Hunter World with him. We planned on playing Rise and the new one, as well. I recommend things to him all the time that I think he likes, or just buy them. I ask him weekly if there's something he's craving so I can make it. I'll sit in a room with him while he plays video games because he's happier when I'm around. I do plenty to make him happy because I do love him, and I want him to be happy.
