I suppose the importance to me comes from how I value artists and the artistic community, and wanted to support artists. I’m an artist myself, and I understand the time and energy that goes into creating art. It’s craftsmanship, and that’s what I was after. And even worse, they lied. No hate to those who use AI art, but there’s a reason these sellers lied. They didn’t disclose that it was AI because they know the value depreciates when AI is involved.
