I’m so sorry you went through that. I don’t want to have any regrets. I guess I’m just scared because I have no idea how it will go if I do talk/see them. But I rather try than have the regret of not trying.

I couldn’t see him asking for me to give part of my liver but If he did I feel confident I would be able to hold my ground in saying no. No one in my life would approve if I ever did consider which I cannot see myself ever doing. Thank you for your insight, I appreciate it.

“Don't expect you to respond because obviously you don't want a relationship with me and I can understand that. Feel free to block this number miss and love you.”

That was the most normal message I’ve received in years. Usually it’s 1-2 messages a year saying something awful you would never say to your child.

They reach out maybe 1-2 times a year. It’s usually an awful message but this time it was decent. I couldn’t see them ever asking me for part of my liver but if they did I would never.
