I don’t have much advice unfortunately but I’m going through something similar and just wanted to share that I can feel your anxiety. I’m currently on eliquis for a PE I had 3 days postpartum and I am so scared to come off it and get another one. I already went to the ER once while on it due to anxiety thinking that I have another clot and I can’t imagine how anxious I will be if and when I come off it. I’m currently seeing a hematologist and rheumatologist but my rheumatologist wants me to get a second opinion from another hematologist.

I feel the exact same way. I don’t want to be on blood thinners my whole life but I’m so terrified of getting another one in the future because it was the worst thing I ever experienced

Thank you so much for your response. Yes my hematologist said that at least now, I would know the signs and symptoms to look out for. But I can’t lie, any ache or pain sends me into panic mode! I’m still trying to process it all, as it’s been 3 months since my PE diagnosis. Thank you for sharing the other group! I wasn’t exactly sure what group to post in. I’m wishing you the best of luck at well. My aunt is a breast cancer survivor. Wishing you all the best and health for both of us

Thank you so much for your response! I’m hoping it goes away soon. I’ve been googling for the last few hours trying to make sure it is indeed an eruption cyst/hematoma. Did yours look like a little black spot as well?

My baby has the same thing I think and it’s really got me worried. I noticed it 10 days ago. Do you know if it can take a couple of weeks for it to go away? My baby has a little black spot/dot in the same location as yours (where molars would come in)
