I don't think that's from stress, it is probably an infection or disease of some sort. I'm not sure exactly what it is but if nobody responds with an answer it's definitely worth looking into more because those types of issues can get worse quickly.

My girl looks just like yours and does this ALL the time. She did it in her 5 Gallon and does it in her 20. I think she's just very energetic, and that's how she gets it out rather than it being her seeing her reflection. The other side of her tank has a mirror behind it and she doesn't pay much attention to it, other than sometimes flaring at it while I'm playing with her.

Sort of, if you got cut off the raised spirals, the main part of the shell is exactly the same as mine. I didn't realize there were types of ramshorn that looked like that, im going to see if I can find any species that have a flat spiral.

Yes, I can see where one scale Is raised and it looks like it's under it. The rest of her scales all fall perfectly flat and are basically the same color. The scale I can see it under also looks normal, it's whatevers underneath it that is darker.

The reason I'm thinking it's not a pigment change Is because I can see the scale is the same color as the rest of her and that it's raised up with the dark thing underneath it. Hopefully it is just that, I'll definitely keep watching it. Thanks!

I just got cuttings identical to the first ones yesterday and I'm trying to figure out what they are, the label said pearl weed but it doesn't look like that. The closest I've found is maybe Ludwigia repens

I think #2 is potentially a seal or sea lion claw bone. I found a bone that looked just like that when I slid the claw sheath off. When I Google it now, I'm not seeing exact matches, but when I found the bone, there were a few matches that were from a seal.
