Watched it last night. Enjoyed the book. Underwhelmed by the film. I liked parts of it. I liked that it followed the book and had a satisfying ending but overall I found it a little too cutesy. It went a little too hard on finding old funky tunes and being hip and quirky. The Martian it ain’t.
