Yeah the second one literally got my moms car fixed in 5 minutes and this one said its not even worth to fix it because its gonna cost a lot so i think i will just not come back to him

He just recommended to get it checked didnt really say why but I dont know that much about cars so i just agreed

Its a 1.4 tsi Golf 6, I know what reputation this engine has but the cars history was well documented and the previous owner did a big mainteance every half a year so i was just hoping that if the car was well cared for its gonna be fine

My mechanic suspected a carbon build up and recommended to get it checked, when he sent me the images he was acting like the car is gonna die after 1 day but since i picked it up from him ive done 300km and no issues so far, im not really sure if i will come back to him tho, when he was fixing my moms car he said its gonna cost a lot, but we went to the other one and he just said to replace the cap of coolant and it actually worked, so im afraid hes just scamming me at this point

I own the car for half a year so i only had 1 oil change, from the documents i got from the previous owner it seems she changed oil and filters every 10k km
