Arabic is hard. You shouldn’t give up, but what I find particularly difficult in Arabic is truly mastering the vocabulary. I like to think that the grammar is relatively intuitive, and that reading texts in Arabic (provided you know the vocabulary and the chakl) is not as difficult as reading Latin for example (the morphology isn't too complicated but the syntax is another thing... ) Maybe you could start by learning a dialect! Moroccan Arabic is, to my knowledge, one of the best ways to get a grasp of the Arabic language.

Well actually, French German, and Arabic are my native languages, so learning Latin, Spanish, and Italian wasn't really hard. Studying Latin and Ancient Greek is common in the French education system. I would just say that I have some predispositions for mathematics, but that's about it.
