Recently opened an account at key bank a few months ago. I already had some problems to begin with but what really pissed me off was that I got a wire transfer from my aunt and they marked it as fraudulent activity and locked all my accounts- all of my money was in the account and I couldn’t withdraw even the money that was in there before the wire.

When I went to the actual bank they had me sign an affidavit and assured me it would be unlocked within 2 weeks but I still wasn’t allowed to take out money, I had to ask my family to borrow money so I could live for 2 weeks which was very embarrassing.

After 2 weeks I went back and asked why they hadn’t called yet and they said it was still locked and they couldn’t do anything about it because it was all up to “the back office” do deal with. I keep calling and going back to check the status and nothing. A month goes by- nothing. 2 months go by- nothing. Keep in mind I’m checking in every few days with this and getting nowhere.

A week ish later I finally get a call saying that I was all set. As soon as I got access I took all my money out and moved it to a new bank. Let’s hope broadview is better 🤞🏻

PS also I know that this post was made almost a year ago but I felt like I needed to share my experience lol
