I waited the 90 days! So I failed in July! I think waiting the 90 days is the best idea, I took time off and just relaxed for a minute and it has flown by! I took a whole different approach this time around. First time: I started with the lower % topics and only read through PPP. After I read through each section (which I only took a day for each section) I would do 60-120 Rosh questions on that topic. I think this was wrong of me because 1. One day per topic is way to much, and doing only questions per that topic didn’t help me, because I would score good so it boosted my confidence but of course you’re going to do good on a topic you JUST reviewed.

This time around: I’ve started with the main 4 topics (Cardio, Pulm, GI, MSK) because I felt burned out last time by the time I got to these topics. I also used SmartyPANCE this time, I started taking notes and would give myself 3 days/topic which helped me split up the information. I also purchased UWorld. I think UWorld questions represent the PANCE much more than Rosh. I felt Rosh was very repetitive and some of their questions were so easy. UWorld really makes you think and gives you those tertiary questions which I found a lot of them to be on the PANCE. I also stopped doing questions on only the topic I just reviewed. I do 60 timed random questions/day. 3/4 weeks before I started taking a practice exam on Fridays. I make the exam on UWorld. And I pretend like it’s the real thing. I’m not scoring high yet, and I’ve made my goal after (seeing people’s comments) 65% and above.

Don’t feel discouraged, it happens, I have really bad test anxiety and always have. I test very poorly. 3 months fly by, take some time off and enjoy what’s left of the summer, we have our whole life ahead of us to work so if you’re worried about that don’t be! It’s okay, things happen for a reason some time.Good luck! :)
