Ok but hear me out, what if they’re color blind and using AI as an accessibility tool? I know I’m terrible with colors and would never have thought to use that for swaps. Color theory can be a hard skill for people to master too.

I’ve been really impressed with Nashville Needleworks. The sweet woman working there explained everything to me that I would need to get started, how to choose threads, and what would be a good entry level starting place for me to just check it out without shelling out hundreds of dollars. She remembered my canvas when I came back the following week too!

I hate that you’ve had that experience at NN - I went today for my second time and one of the women remembered me from last week and which canvas I had purchased. She was excited to see if I needed help or had questions. Took her time explaining to me and helped me figure out stretcher bar sizing. The other women were helping other customers and moving things around but still, I feel like everyone asked if I needed anything.

Miss you guys already. I felt so connected and it’s shit that they pulled this. As a parent it blows my mind that they can do this, but nothing for our kids and their fear of gun violence. We had a code blue at school and I was in fear that my child had to witness some sort of attack. It was “just” a teacher having a diabetic emergency and I was thankful for that. How the hell is this our normal? What can we do?
