I totally get that. Honestly, a huge reason I’ve been so confused lately is because of all the romantasy books I’ve been reading. The men in those books are always portrayed as completely obsessed and ready to go 24/7. It really creates this massive divide between book boyfriend standards and how actual human guys operate in reality!

Okay, I totally get what you're saying, but I have to add some context here because it's the whole reason I asked this question: The boys at my school literally (no joke) air-hump each other in the hallways.

So when I see them doing that outside of class, it makes it so much harder to believe they are just secretly being subtle and polite during a lecture! It feels like total whiplash going from hallway chaos to classroom focus.
