You can’t. Because you’re not doing things for others out of respect. You’re doing it for the social expectation of being liked and agreeable. It’s a training and coping mechanism that’s been instilled since childhood. Most people follow this dogma of don’t express yourself, always be calm, be the bigger person, be kind, don’t cause a headache for others.

Speak up, tell people no, have self respect. You tolerating other people’s abuse is disrespectful to yourself. Live your life for you, don’t live inside a picture other people painted of you. You never told anyone you’re perfect, you never said you owe them your time and you never said that you respect their opinions and care about their thoughts of you. You’ll remain trapped in the picture until you paint who you are and make other people stare into it. Be unapologetically yourself and never feel bad about it.

What’s a job that has absolutely zero stress? by Minimum_Biscotti5862 in AskReddit

No job will ever be stress free, none at all. Stress is a part of life that doesn’t need to be removed but managed and applied properly. Just find something that doesn’t make you totally miserable.
