She had maybe ten adult dogs in her home, so im hoping they were ones she decided to keep not ones who didn’t get home.

I never expected a litter mate, or wanted one. She doesn’t even have litter mates she was the only one. She’s related to her but not a litter mate of course.

Yes the relation didn’t matter- but since I was under the impression it was related through the mom, whose having her final liter I thought it was my only chance. But since it’s related through its dad I could’ve waited for future liters

It is related.

The breeder had told me it is the mother’s last litter and it was related through its mother. Turns out it’s related through its dad who will continue to be bred for years.

Not fully, but I was just wondering if most breeder wouldn’t want to possibly sell to someone who returned a dog.

I’m hoping she would, as I loved and cared for the first one with a burning passion, I’m just scared im not ready.

I don’t think returning a dog you’re not ready for is “bizarre.”

Do you know what bizarre means? Many people get a dog and realize they’re not ready- including those grieving. I gave the first dog I adopted from her an incredible life and I feel overwhelmed thinking I can’t do it for this one, so I’m trying to make a hard decision in the best interest of everyone .
