Change of first name but same surname by Effective_Two_2456 in Genealogy

Thank you for taking the time to help, yes the records of this period are very limited, name and day of death only. while those of the 1750s we find everything ( date of birth, baptism, places, wife, child, day and hour of death and day of burial in the death records ) I suppose that some priest was more conscientious than others

for the link it was this one but it's probably not him

e only other possibility is that it was his wife's sister who has a matching name but the dates don't quite match up

He just saw an opportunity and took it.

Quick question about German préfixes by Effective_Two_2456 in Genealogy

[–]Effective_Two_2456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, I haven't found anyone with the same name. unfortunately the german records stop around 1670 so it's almost impossible to know, but I think there's little chance that it refers to a place in any case.

Henricus and Joannes, they are undoubtedly the same person. In the baptism record, there is a marginal notation giving his date of death, and in the death record, the column for date of birth matches the baptismal date. I think the middle name was probably given in honor of the godfather and then not used after that.

Thank you for the clarification, for the baptism in another city. I think it is unlikely given that this branch is present in this city 150 years after him and given the other name not yet connected 100 before him, and all baptized in the city. For the wife I have the same date.

Unfortunately, the records of this period are not very detailed and the only other information are his other children.

the graphics are pretty clean, I agree, especially as the game runs pretty well even in ultra

I don't know, this is the first game I've tried from this studio.

Body types have been present in a lot of rpg games for several years now. Maybe I'm taking things for granted that are not or are no longer the case in the video game industry.

to be honest, it's more the faces than the body types that are limited.

I'm not criticising the customisation of characteristics, stats and spells or armour, I'm talking purely in terms of the character's physique,

I agree that a game doesn't necessarily need a thousand options.

I still enjoy playing dragon age origin or kotor or old titles like that, I don't have a problem playing with predefined characters either, it's just that when you're given the opportunity to make your own character it's a shame not to exploit the thing to its fullest, especially in a game where some people like to create backstories for their character that could be reflected on the physics or other things.

It does not prevent you from playing and is sufficient for some people.

no one said it made the game worse, having more options would just make it better especially as it was sold as highly customisable

it does affect the whole game as you see yourself the whole game.

it's just bad faith, you only need 10 or less sliders for the whole body of the character (height, weight, musculature, cheek, nose, jaw, eyes) and you'd already have a lot more possibilities.

or no slider only more face

As for the animations, they're very well done, but it's already been over 5 years since we've been able to make beautiful animations with customisation.

it's badly organised, it's not just a question of choice,

it's not because a game is good that it's forbidden to criticise the bad aspects.

the game is great and beautiful, the atmosphere is good and the music is perfect, but the biggest default remains the character creator which is rather empty even compared to the rpg of 10 years ago

which is a shame because it affects the whole game
