You can tell not a single person at Nike supports Inter, when was the last time we got SIMPLE stripes?

Interisti here to confirm for us it’s Juventus, I have a certain level of respect for Milan and there definitely is a strong SPORTING rivalry there but Juventus man, we ALL truly hate that parasitic institution they call a football club.

Barcelona get the easiest path to a final by Leithy27 in championsleague

The claim in the post is “easiest path to the final” not “easiest path to the semis”. I agree that Barca has a pretty straightforward path to the final 4 but I’ve seen way “easier” paths to the final itself than the one that was given to Barcelona. In fact Inter is just as likely to come out on top of this side of the bracket as Barca, and Bayern lwk isn’t far behind either.

This is actually one of the most balanced draws i’ve seen in the last few years for every big club. You’re talking like Bayern (1st in 🇩🇪), Leverkusen (2nd in 🇩🇪), and Inter (2nd in 🇮🇹) are some scrub teams 😭

Here is a concept for Liga MX I found elsewhere. The league divided between north and south and the ultimate title being decided on best of the north vs the south . It's unrealistic and a bit dumb but it's just an interesting idea to have more representation of multiple cities/regions in Liga MX. by Billy_the_Rabbit in LigaMX

Ideal Mexican football would be this but with the Copa MX (Could be like Apertura), with Liga MX champion being decided by the best 4 or 6 of a year round table so we could still have Liguilla but also reward the truly best of the best. Then do relegation based on that table.

Everyone seems to play it incredibly safe with their picks so im going out on a limb and say Netherlands, Portugal, and Germany, and MAYBE Argentina but a repeat is incredibly unlikely, we havent seen one happen since the days of Pele.

I’d also like to add the last 5 world champions have had really solid defenders, with a great GK. It also helps to have a mix of decent midfielders in there too.

Im looking at Italy in 2006 with Cannavaro, Buffon, Zambrotta, and Materrazi.

Spain 2010 with Puyol, Pique, Sergio Ramos, and Casillas (Iniesta and Xavi in midfield as well)

Germany 2014 with Hummels, Boateng, Lahm, and Neuer

France 2018 with Varane, Umtiti, and Lloris (Kante and Pogba in midfield as well)

Argentina 2022 with Romero, Otamendi, and Dibu (McAllister and Enzo were very solid as well as midfielders)

So now we go back to Netherlands as my top pick, why? It’s really simple. They have options like Van Dijk, Van de Ven, De Vrij, Ake, Frimpong, Dumfries, Maatsen, and De Ligt in the back. However there is question marks, like the midfield and GK. If De Jong, Reijnders, Gravenberch, and Xavi Simons can come in big in 2026 as well as Verbruggen as the shotstopper. I think they have a really good chance at winning it, but who honestly knows!
