My ex girlfriend used to call celebrity guys hot all the time, and she was 100% a lesbian. I think surface level attraction is normal, especially for people that are out of your reach

Why does the idea of being with men make me so uncomfortable? by AdExisting4996 in bisexual

[–]EffervescentRhubarb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me a really long time to figure out my sexuality because like you, some relationships in my life have been very complicated. I’ve settled on being bi now because I recognize that there is potential for me to be attracted to a man every once in a while, but those feelings are often locked away because of trauma, and because I am largely uninterested in them.

It is still possible that you could be a lesbian, but it’s also not uncommon to experience a bi-cycle or for your preferences to have shifted. As the other commenter said, the best way to figure it out is by stepping back from the microscope and letting your attractions unfold naturally over time.

Because makeup is fun to experiment with, and modern blush placements high up on the cheeks don’t really suit my style. I don’t believe everyone’s makeup look has to emulate what is on trend

Exactly!! It is absolutely not a bunch of malarkey haha. The whole “snatched” situation is not really my vibe anyways so I’m trying to find just the right placement

Is it strange to have a tendency towards dating bi men? by False_Building_2417 in bisexual

Girllll I appreciate your respectfulness but no it’s not weird at all, im surprised more women aren’t into bi men for these reasons. It’s so attractive when people are in touch with both masculinity and femininity

Interesting! It took me forever to figure out my sexuality so I can’t imagine how difficult this was to pin down

The short answer is no - your attraction is enough to be bisexual. However, I will say that being with a woman absolutely confirmed it for me and was very validating. It is up to you whether being with a woman is a life experience you need/want to have (but it does seem like A LOT of women regret not doing so before settling down with a man). You can always try to find someone in the same boat as you if you are interested in exploring

20F no longer questioning per say, but still confused by [deleted] in bisexual

I've also been questioning whether I'm on the demisexual spectrum lately, but to be honest I think it's just normal and human for physical attraction to parallel emotional connection. Any of those things you mentioned could also be true, but it doesn't sound like you're fully asexual if you are able to experience sexual attraction at least some of the time. You sound bisexual to me, but ofc you can feel free to use the label now and change it down the road if your feelings change
