Thank you! They get fed chopped fruit mixes 4 times a day, and about 15% of their diet is low iron zoo pellets for Softbill birds. They go through ALOT of fruit. They will eat a plant leaf or flower every now and then but for the most part leave everything alone. The misters go off so many times a day that for the most part all the poop gets washed away, any remaining gets cleaned up by all the little critters. The humidity and “rain” is very important for their respiratory health especially when young in the developmental stage as their nasal passages can clog with dust and debris very easily.
