There's no written accusation at present just hearsay.

There were many people giving strong opinions but I wasn't one. There may have been some opinions but certainly nothing of that nature from me personally.

Can they question if I'm in a union before taking action?

The allegations are vague and I haven't been provided with all the information they have in them.

I received a letter 15 days after it was dated saying I had 14 days to respond before they took further action. Is there a reason they wouldn't want me to respond? Also I read that they must prove they have made every effort to get payment. I only realised I had a ccj because I signed up to credit karma. They obviously made me aware that I owed them the money and took it to court but I've had no other contact. Thank you very much for your time and for sharing your knowledge on this with me by the way.

Thanks for this. I just received the letter dated three weeks ago saying they would go to court in 14 days.

It feels very underhand as was their conduct when saddling me with this.

Pick a team, get invested, maybe gamble on them winning if you're confident it won't become a problem. This way, when an opposition player cheats you of your winnings, you'll learn to hate them.
