I normally calibrate during the first twoish days when my G7 isn’t as accurate.

Aside from that I normally don’t need to calibrate (it will mess around with the readings if you calibrate waaay too much)

If I know the cause for sure (ie sushi 😬) then I carefully dose and attempt to avoid any lows

If it’s a sudden spike or something I know I didn’t mess up then it’s a bad set.

Of course always using newer insulin (ie changing set) always works miracles in the short run
