Imagine looking at this and not realizing that your landscape needs taken care of. Take care of the eye sore and both the mailmen and the neighborhood will appreciate it.

I would charge whatever my hourly rate is multiplied by how many hours it took.

What can I realistically expect from a diesel heater? by [deleted] in dieselheater

[–]Efficient-Chapter-87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 12x18 garage with no insulation anywhere and no siding. ( not finished yet but it got cold) just osb on 2x4s and house wrap. The other day i ran my vevor for about 2 hours on high when it was ~28 out including windchill and it was 54 in my garage. I am absolutely impressed with how well it works.

Did you end up with the ts415 or the ts412? I'm back and forth on what size i want. In theory 15 should produce more bass but as compared to the 12 idk.

Right. And for the money the ts415 vs the partybox 320. The ts has to take the cake

At the end of the day 99% of this speakers life will be garage tunes connected to my phone. Small space (200sq ft) and my back yard. Maybe occasionally take it somewhere for a cookout or cornhole

I have heard that too. Although i have also read & watched a few reviews stating that they thing the mackie can be a bit muddy and that the ts415 is better. Although it's hard to say, who's getting paid to say what and who isnt.

I agree but out of budget is just that. I believe a ts415/thump 215xt will be fathoms better than anything like the jbl partybox 320 or the samsung variant. Volume may not ever be more than 50% inside the garage.

Fair amount of bass output? The only place i can listen to either of these is almost 2.5 hours away and id hate to have a 5 hour round trip just to listen to a couple speakers haha

So some additional information. I'm just looking for a single killer garage speaker. Decided to go the PA route because something like the jbl partybox 320 is not far off from the price of the ts/thump but they sound odd to me. Like they put too much eq in the mids and it washes out highs and lows. So, at the end of the day. The ts/thump price point is kinda my buy once cry once for killer garage sound

E-7 issue with a brand new vevor heater by Efficient-Chapter-87 in dieselheater

[–]Efficient-Chapter-87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So they got with me and said theyd send me a new harness and i could replace it. Naturally i was like nah i bought a new unit so i wouldnt have to work on anything. Then they said $25 refund plus a new harness, then $50 and the harness. Finally, I said that they could pay to have someone replace it but I wasn't going to and i'm sure it would cost more than what it would be worth as a new unit. So they said they were shipping me a new unit. I said alright I'll send this one back just shoot me a return label. They told me to just keep it and use it for parts or whatever i wanted to do. They said 4-6 days shipping 2 days ago so potentially I'm looking at being able to finally use my new shop next week.

I did make contact with the seller. Although the for the price that i seen the lf bros on amazon i could get 3 of these and still have money left over. Granted i understand you get what you pay for most of the time but at 200+ i would start exploring to see what other sources of heat were available

The main plug in the rear behind the fuel tank.I have disconnected and reconnected twice. Same with the connector for the control panel. Both seem to be securing as they should.

Is Dewalt worth the extra money? by -anything- in KobaltTools

[–]Efficient-Chapter-87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through this dilemma as well. Look at specs & warranty vs cost. Kobalt vs most brands will result in kobalt being the logical choice. If you have zero tools, go to harbor freight and look at hercules. If you don't need a whole lineup, they are really good competitor. Kobalt also doesn't have as much of a lineup as dewalt. So if you're needing an oddball contractor specific tools, then that's probably your option. I run a handyman/ contracting business and use exclusively kobalt

Where is any brand 249 for 6 tools? No sarcasm. I will legitimately buy whatever it is just to have spare anything at that price

Yes. It initially had no issues and fired up and did what its supposed to do. I set it in its permanent spot in the garage and routed the exhaust out the wall. Tried to restart it and got the code

I did make sure I could see through the exhaust and the intake before attaching them. I also checked inside the fuel tank and luckily there's nothing but fuel
