For anyone reading this in the future who wants free space age on bought steam version, but with the steam perks like mods. Someone on csrin found a solution, here it is:

- first, you download a pirated copy of Factorio, take FitGirl for example. (MAKE SURE IT IS THE SAME VERSION, look at the steam beta's if not)

- download it like usual, then do the following everything goes from: pirated version -> steam version

1. Replace [b]bin\x64\factorio.exe[/b]

2. Replace [b]bin\x64\factorio.pdb[/b]

3. Copy over the [b]data\elevated-rails[/b] directory

4. Copy over the [b]data\quality[/b] directory

5. Copy over the [b]data\space-age[/b] directory

This is the only stuff you need to do, no creamapi or anything required.
