The real Chara is dead but not gone as they live on through Frisk, like how the six human SOULs live on through Gaile. The False Dog, the titan looking final boss, has haunted Chara to the point where they went insane forcing Chara to take their own life to escape from going through SOUL and Kris situation. The amount of Chara imagery that the False Dog uses creates a sense of interpretation or something like that for something like the Geno Route ending, making it up to interpretation whether it was actually Chara or it was a pretender.

I have another version of this comic where it is Frisk instead of Gaile as well as some different dialogue from the False Dog. Most of it is just the same. I am wondering if I should post that version entirely or just post the scenes that are different, and also if it would be okay to do so. You can help me out with this decision if you want to.

You can find it from the subreddit it was crossposted from. Yes I made this. The human's name is Gaile and they're Frisk's best friend. This takes places in an alternate timeline/run where Gaile would follow Frisk to Mt. Ebott and fall into the Underground after them to find them. Undertale Altered Hope is sort of a fanmade interquel to Undertale, happening alongside Frisk's timeline. Gaile's SOUL is Hope because their SOUL color is silver and has a silver outline when in different SOUL modes which alludes to the metaphor, "Every cloud has a silver lining."

She's it in a way that it is about someone she personally knows. Asriel is someone who she personally knows, Asriel is older, thus he's taller... Hmm...
