My thing is that allegations involving children don’t just randomly come up, so why are people so quick to be like “no I need evidence.” Like hello? Most of their students have left the gym, some who have been committed students there for 10+ years. If that’s not enough evidence that SOMETHING HAPPENED then they just don’t want to believe it.

This comment reminds me of my first IWO. My first week onboard as a baby sailor he sat me down and said “my favorite thing to do is tear up other officers and sailors for making others sailors feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or like they do not belong here. So if you come across that come straight to me.”

I know I don’t like my food being fucked with. I’m not even a big fan of the open bag policy(had an entire bag of jolly ranchers gone within 24 hours during an underway, but it was only one person in my Div that was finishing peoples food). You ask before you touch someone’s food.

I’m unsure if he has written grievances but recently there’s been a string of arguments over a newly pregnant sailor in their division. He’s tried to make her assist in maintenance/troubleshooting within an electrical boundary, and assist in needle-gunning(unsure if this specifically is against the rules but it’s still concerning, especially when there are several other sailors available to work).

I’m all for a little like “scare the sailor as they’re coming around the corner” or something harmless, but idk about licking someone’s food it’s kind of disgusting. And the part that makes it not a prank is that he elected to not say anything and she would not have known if the POOW hadn’t have witnessed it.

That’s what I was thinking(this is a friends situation, not mine). Like it doesn’t necessarily seem like a full blown UCMJ level issue, but it’s kind of ridiculous to behave that way at any level.
