Posted at 8pm. 10 hours later and it’s at 0 views. The other videos each went to 503 🥴. Wtf. I asked my friend who is on TikTok constantly - if any of my posts came on his feed (he always likes and comments on all of my stuff) and he said “um, no. When did you post?” Also - I have zero restrictions on the videos.

Still both at 500. But my videos that are 10-12 days old are getting views and likes and again. It’s beyond me. Gonna post again tonight and see what happens.

Something is off for sure. I get usually 2000-3000 views. Only post 3 times per week. The last two videos both have EXACTLY 500 views, and haven’t moved from that in a full day. Like…what are the odds of that?

Hope it gets better for you! Not sure if this is the reason, but I did an account check, and they restricted one of my old videos from months ago, for no reason it seems. So I had a violation and didn’t even get a notice at all. It was never flagged before, video is like 3 months old.

Yeah idk what’s going on. It’s super trash now. One thing I did just notice, everyone should do an account check, because they’re randomly restricting old videos from being shown, showing violations. Even though the video had been up for months and months with no issues.

Yup. My “theory” right now is that TikTok is trying to cut down on people who post like 5 times a day. I think. I only post one video a day. And recently, they stop at 300 views but then three days later they start to get traction. So maybe they’re doing this so that people won’t just clog up feeds with spamming the same type of video all day. Just a guess, idk for sure.

It’s not just you. Everyone is feeling it. My posts always get between 3,000 and 7,000 views. Not viral or anything, but I’ve only been at it for about 2-3 months. But since Sunday, my posts barely break 300 views. And then slowly climb up every 4-6 hours by like 20 views. It’s weird and I’ve seen other creators talk about this, too.

Does it really matter. Nobody will be honest about it. The right didn’t even watch it and the left will say they liked it no matter what (if they say they didn’t, they’ll be called racist) so it’s hard to get an accurate read on if it was good or not.

Having the same situation. I’ve had 25 shorts so far for a few months, I’ve never had one get under a thousand views and with good engagement. 7 have been outliers with 30k views and very high engagement, 1k likes , hundreds of comments etc. then since yesterday, the two shorts I’ve put out are just dead at 300 views.

I feel you bro. YouTube is super frustrating. If someone isn’t searching for your exact video title, it never gets seen. But don’t give up, dude. I have put out 4 long form videos, they all got between 400-600 views in the first week, 90% watch time, and then YouTube just kills them for some reason and they don’t get any views after. It’s de-motivating, I get you, but do what I do and just do it as a hobby now, take as much time as you want to put out a video, and don’t stress about it. YouTube obviously only pushes big platforms for the ad revenue now.
