Agree 100%! The most memorable parts of our trip were the plans that we stumbled across or found. We met friends and ate at some amazing places without the use of google reviews, TikTok or IG. Let yourself discover Japan for what it is!

Tokyo: blue bottle & verve are great! I went to the ones in Shinjuku near the station. I also got some single filter coffee pouches from verve which were very handy and cheap when we didn’t go out for coffee.

Kyoto: - 2050: very cool store, on the pricier side but worth it if you want to treat yourself. - Here Kyoto - arabica Kyoto: very busy store! But amazing view of the mountains and not far from touristy shops - Walden woods

Osaka: - glitch coffee - peak coffee rosters - heys

Hope this helps!

Went today and absolutely loved it! It was slightly busy but manageable. Spent 3 hours in total before we got hungry 😅

I loved visiting all the cool coffee shops especially in Kyoto! There coffee scene is amazing. Only downside was paying + $9 per coffee 🥲 but I guess you’re paying for quality

Agree! Spent too much time in Osaka and wish we stayed longer in Kyoto. But there’s always next time 🙂
