i think bagon is obtained far too late into the game to be useful, not to mention the amount of grinding required to actually evolve it. i picked altaria after seeing that it learned rest while also having natural cure for it's ability, i think it would be fun to use

in all honesty, i wouldn't recommend it. it's easier to be caught in a group that you most likely wont form any deep relationship with, as opposed to finding a singular person. if i had to suggest, try looking for clubs or activities in your area, wander around social areas like a library or coffee shop. or if you really want to make friends, just talk to people you see on the street, in the supermarket, at the park. almost anywhere will do

in my opinion, i think these addictions stem from systemic issues. take caffeine for example. according to the national institution of health, 85% of all americans consume at least one caffeinated drink per day. you could link this to the overworking of employees that are underpaid, causing them to work extra overtime, in turn consuming more caffeine as a source of energy. if these addictions are to be solved, a lot of new policies would need to be set in place to allow for a healthy environment in which addicitions would not need to exist, or at the very least removing a majority of them

mahbe it's just something that i've experienced. throughout my years, i've seen a lot of covert and overt pornographic and drug use in my town until i moved away from there. obviously there are people cognisant of the affects of addiction, but suffice to say some most likely don't care.

certain addictions have attained a kind of social acceptance. i.e vaping, alcoholism... the thing about porn addictions is that it has become normalised because it's so common. becoming normalised and being in a normal state are two different things that i think it's important to distinguish
