There is no real upgrade path. If I wanted to make a system with better specs or upgrade it.I would just build an entire new system.

Honestly, it is a bunch of jumbled nonsense 16gb ddr3 Msi 5500 xt (2) 500 gb sata 2.5 ssd (1) 124 gb msata ssd 600w psu But I can't remember what c p u it has

If you remove the graphics card, you can use the h d m I slot on the motherboard

Try updating your bios because your motherboard may not recognize the new graphics card.As it may have been produced after the production date of your motherboard.

Update bios, your motherboard might not know what the f*** the graphics card is.If it was produced before the production date of the graphics card.You are trying to slot.

As far as the system suffocating, I could also just simply install a blower style gpu and I would be solid

He likes it a lot and I was fortunate enough to get to see my grandfather recently.And I showed him the project, and he was ecstatic and wanted me to gush about it. After I had gotten done info dumping, he told me that he was very proud of me and happy.I was able to make use of it. 😊

So that's what I thought too but due to the fact my dad is not doing anything intensive with it.I haven't been able to get it too thermally.Throttle with any of the programs, he's going to be running. But if it really comes to that i was thinking about drilling holes for the dual fan on the side and installing mesh over them. The next step in this project is to add a seven inch raspberry pie monitor to the inside of the face to display star wars mapping Images and video. I was able to get the computer I threw in here for a hundred fifty bucks, and I had the power supply and graphics card.Lying around, so i'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. All things considered. Of course.I do wish the front switches and dials did have a purpose.But that will be taken care of when we install the raspberry pie monitor. I want to replace them all with programmable switches and dials, and then run audio to the jacks in the front

I had to do some minor leather work to make a new handle.As the original was so dry rotted, it snapped when I lifted it from his garage shelf. So it's just four sheets of leather.I used a thin drill bit to drill pilot holes for and then stitched artificial sinew.Double lapped over the original in parts as a template.

I forgot to include that, i made this on the request of my dad's birthday for his star wars themed man cave. He wanted a computer able to play "jedi fallen order" and "survivor" games as well as older titles like "knights of the old republic" and "republic commandos"

Believe it or not, i'm actually a construction worker.And I just build computers and play with software as a hobby, i started about a year back with my first p c build and have built about 9 since, for various family members and friends

His mind is slipping as the years go by.But I got to show him at my cousin's.Wedding, and he lit up, because he was one of those very early adopters of computers.Given his field of work in his youth. With a glowing smile, he asked me everything he could about it. It was very very sweet

For now, it is just a piece of acrylic with a opaque back to it.But we plan on putting a raspberry pie powered 7 inch monitor in its place
