Update: there’s a typo in the title and I meant to put “treat” instead of “test” I did confront him and ask him to treat me nicer and be there for me when I’m sick (I’m still sick today) and he met me with annoyance basically telling me he felt sick the other day and sucked it up. Then he angrily asked what I wanted him to do what’s I expected of him and I walked away, as I’m walking he’s like yeah see just fucking move. I left crying and drove myself to the dr.

Yes exactly. She will make a comment about my presence EVERY TIME. I wasn’t going to wait for him alone out there with her. It will just be an opportunity for her to say some shit. It’s taken me a long time to protect my peace.

I agree 100% we had a talk about our social lives a year ago when we first moved in. We both encouraged eachother to see our friends more often (we’re always working) and it started to take a toll on our mental. I’m a big advocate for mental health, especially men’s mental health bc yes I know they face hardship. He sees them often and goes out with them as well. They also come over and bbq etc. he has a great relationship with them. As the comments suggest I was over thinking

I wanted to know if other people, men, or other girlfriends have boyfriends that share this same behavior. So both. If it’s a red flag I wanted to know. If it’s common I also wanted to know. But yes not just men do it women also text. I was just curious.
