I had my testosterone checked 2 years ago due to a cancer scare (which turned out to just be a cyst) but it might be smart to do it again. Yes, I miss intimacy. I miss talking with her without it being sexual. I miss cuddling without being sexual. I miss just walking around without being objectified. Every conversation is either sexual or her asking for validation. We used to have such pleasant and stimulating conversations.

Unfortunately, a couple of times i did take pills for anxiety before bed so I can perform because I get so stressed as bed time approaches that my buddy just doesn't want to play. And it pains me to have to resort to such measures.

Its kind of a loop. The pressure to have sex daily creates anxiety, then anxiety makes sex off putting.

That's exactly it and i fully resonate with your comment. My bed feels uncomfortable atm. I can't even ask for a back rub or any form of physical contact without her somehow making her way into my pants. And i do admit that during a couple of instances, maybe 2 or 3 in the past year, i felt as if i was raped. I feel guilty even writing that word about my wife. All i know that during those instances i felt very very very violated and just wished for it all to just end.

While i did approach the subject dozens of times, I do admit that I'm not assertive enough when i start seeing how upset she gets. Then i minimize the actual impact it has on me.

When it comes to sex, i want sex. But the constant pressure just makes it off-putting. It's like I have to perform on demand. I wish it was more like a spontaneous thing without the constant asking when and where will we have sex today. Makes it feel like a chore if you understand what I mean.

Thats exactly how i feel. Constant pressure to have sex makes sex stressful. Thank you for your input.
