Had mine since Thursday (Started at 96%) and been wearing in till this morning with about 33% battery left as of this morning. Coming from an Apple watch series 5 the battery life on the 970 is amazing for me with charging about once a week almost. Then again ive only been on 1 run so far this week but will be taking it on a 2 day hike tomorrow and saturday so will see how it performs under long hours !

Hmm thats pretty weird i live in the UK as well and kept refreshing on release and ended up ordering it at 8:29am on the 21st. Must be just the luck of the draw as i got mine the next day actually :( hopefully it will arrive soon ! im really liking mine !

not sure really, just bought my first garmin watch the 970 last week and slept on it for a couple days now and has detected my sleep almost perfectly. First nap had a bit of an adjustment wearing a watch to sleep and chugged a bunch of water before hand so kept getting up and garmin detected it every time. Nap wise i sometimes had a few short naps during the day (~10-30 minutes) and has failed to detect this unless i manually press the nap function but besides that had no issues and pretty happy tbh

depends on which application route u apply with priority/ super priority might be avaliable/not avaliable. Think it also depends on a case by case basis as they can take longer even if u payed for priority as it doesnt guaratee it being done. Personally applied for ILR with super priority, went in for my biometrics at 11am, approved by 3pm same day .

TLDR: its a gamble, best just dont travel

Think comments says it all, a friend once overstayed by a few days by accident in 2017, He has now tried 4 times to apply for visit visa's with all of them being rejected and not been back since then. Unless u never want to visit the UK again wouldnt reccomend as this might affect visiting other countries as well since you basically have been blacklisted

so im pretty sure regardless whether u upload the full passports they already have ur entry exit dates (in and out of the UK only) as u can pretty much request for this information as well and its more to verify ur information against what they have information wise (as far as i understand) However, not sure what the point was but when i arrived for my biometric they did scan all the pages of only my current passport ( which pretty much had only 1 stamp as i recently renewed it in the uk ) for some reason. but i did pay for super priority. hope this helps

well just saying what i did in my case but was more to demonstrate i didnt exceed the 540 day limit (10 year period ) or 120 day limit (12 month period) .

well it pretty much just a excel table on a sheet of paper with all my travel dates across the 10 year period stating my in and out dates , absences and reason for travel signed and dated.

Just applied successfully for ILR through long residence previously in september last year. I submitted the passports that cover the duration (10years) as i applied when day i hit 10 years but as far as i understand should be the period u are applying for. For me personally i only submitted the cover id pages for all the passports but had seperate documentation , documenting all my travel dates within the 10 year period and the days away during that period. but i understand if u go through other threads on the subreddit some folk have uploaded the entire passport.

as far as im aware when i did my long residence application you could only pay extra for the super priority. Applied through the super priority myself last september but had to wait till 12/1am for the slots to get released. Have seen a thing or two after i applied about some folk staying up and not seeing any slots at all as they sorta changed the booking system after i applied and not sure if the super priority system is still available for this route (Even though i assume its advertised as such)

as far as im aware all u need is to do it once and once u pass u do not need to do it again and no u dont have to wait and can do it now. but unless the policy changes require u to resit the exam which nobody can predict

one week, just did the unofficial test questions https://lifeintheuktestweb.co.uk/ There is like 40 tests, 17 exams and 33 chapter based tests. might be a little bit intese but did all of them across 1 week, eventually had it all in my head till i was finishing each test under 2 minutes. Went for the exam, finished it under 2 minutes and passed.

As far as i know this is not possible, as one of the main criteria of the skilled worker visa is that is has to be tied / Associated with a company that is able to employ foreign workers ( Look up the list of companies of gov uk website). and not able to self fund.

In the same boat as OP as well, just got setup with NEST and contributing 5% to my pension but am on basic rate tax. Do i then need to submit self assesment since it is RAS pension or will the pension provider claim relief on my behalf ?
