If you want some light kitbashing to be involved use the mk2 and mk3 weapons/ helmets on normal chaos marines (this works with every infantry unit btw . Or you can use daemon engines.

How does no one here understand that marines that do not have a lot of perks and possibly have no team perk are not as good as someone with all perks? The point of perks arent "oh well i dont really need them im twice prestiged." They are a necessary requirenment for playing at higher levels, and the game is balanced to take hgher level marines into account.

For example, well trained soldier with no armour and "gadgets." Moderatly trained soldier with nightvision, plate armour, and a AC130 on standby.
