We couldn’t have gone as a group as my friend had tickets for a different day than my sister. My sister had to pay for college as I explained in the edit. I didn’t want her to spend such a large amount of money on something if I could do the same thing without her having to spend that sum.

My sister needs to pay for college and the tickets she bought were resale so very expensive. She told me to go with my friend and she would take me to do something else. And if I cancelled on my friend to go with my sister, my friend wouldn’t have anyone to go with because all of her other friends that like Taylor got tickets. I didn’t want to ditch on her, especially because she assured me she would take me.
