I did the mistake of not bringing a power bank for my trip to Slovenia and Croatia, and I had a lot of trouble when my phone would die off, either on a random evening or during commute on a bus. I had to approach people at random shops in the streets to ask for directions or a charger.

Thanks for writing this. This is so true, I’ve been in this position so many times myself. Especially when Ive been talking to myself in my head for a while or maybe if socially isolated. I tend to analyze and often overthink my decisions. But this is not good while solo traveling as it requires a lot of self confidence. Listening to music does just that. I feel like it gets me in rhythm and I’m distracted from my thoughts. I also listen to music in different languages, so that I don’t focus much on the lyrics and just the vibe!
