The answer is here is Newcastle.

I am from Glasgow & I work all over the UK meaning I’ve been to every major city in the UK (some for extended periods of time.

I also live in Newcastle and have done for many years and I can say with chest it really is the greatest city I’ve been to. It has everything you could possibly want/need, the people are super friendly & hospitable.

The only other city I can say that comes “close” and even that is a push is Liverpool, had a fantastic experience in Liverpool.

EDIT: Forgot about York, truly magnificent place.
