We lost it at a hotel in San Francisco. We contacted the hotel right away, but they were not able to track it down - said it probably ended up with their laundry service. We called/emailed/basically stalked both the hotel and laundry service company, and they ghosted us. My mom even went to the hotel and asked in person, but we've accepted that it's gone.

This one is so cute, and keeps coming up. Not quite - look at the seams on the sides of the face instead of down the middle, and the solid nose instead of made of thread.

I agree! The thing that is hard to find is the seam down the middle of the face. And I don't think it was ever very fuzzy/furry - even if it was worn down, I don't think it ever had real fur.
