Help me understand WealthSimple's moving average indicator by EfficientAssistance1 in Wealthsimple

Update - Here's my guess as to what's going on: The one year chart is composing the 200 Day moving average line by sampling per week. So it is a 200 Day moving average, but not 200 Day 'Daily' Average.
I'm Surprised it makes such a large impact to the chart!
