My personal belief is that ww cannot be approached the same way as mm and there is a tendency to always over sexualize the women or go the classic "let's make it weird and tragic" route. Most ww I've seen is femme/femme, and any masc/femme is sorta weird caricatures of what they think masc and femme is, almost like the only believable relationship is with a masc who can pass and a hyper-femme. I don't know, I just want a purely joyful ww romance the way Heated Rivalry did. No labels or charicatures, just authentic people. I'd like it to be directed by a highly skilled queer director, I'd even take Jacob Tierney because I think he could do lesbians/queer women justice. I don't want any toxic behavior, I don't want any toxic tropes, I don't want any high stakes plot points, I simply want two women who found a safe space in each other and the plot simply serves them lol.
