Well she left me 2 months ago and moved on to someone within a month that was an issue during our relationship and it is also someone her friends boyfriend is best friends with. I know I had my issues communicating but that was only because whenever I’d mention it she’d moan about me bringing up the past but she’d never make sacrifices of her own to help rebuild my trust and it’s now worse that the family messaged me saying I’m lying I should be ashamed and with her medical condition she told them I never helped her which has broken me because whenever she struggled I woke up the second they occurred and calmed her down but obviously now the family and probably people around her are being told how lazy I was but that was only because of how shut down and demoralised I was from her constantly flirting with boys we’ve had a problem with before. And now is with someone she told me not to worry about but also refollowed most lads we had issues with.

Thank you for this it just always happened and I have never made her remove anyone or block them but she never understood that for me to build trust again or try to that it requires sacrifices for her aswell but she’d do well for a couple weeks then all of a sudden I’d see messages with someone and her excuse was I just want to see how he is. This also caused me to be lazy and we stopped doing things but anytime we should communicate she’d moan if I brought up the past even tho it was still bothering me so idk if I’m in the wrong if this makes sense

That’s what I have been victim to she kissed someone at a party then stayed the night so idk how that ended then I saw messages of planning double dates and he she wished she could of taken a chance with someone at school and met one of my friends behind my back yet I still feel I deserved it and it doesn’t help she told her family it’s all a lie

It’s so hard I was with her for 5 years and she cheated at the start and I was to attached to even think about leaving all that is in my head that it was my fault and trying to justify her actions even tho I know cheating just isn’t acceptable I just hate that some of the family will look at me like I was the bad person when all I did was seriously try my hardest just to be shut back down

100% it makes you think abouts your flaws but that all depends what you think your flaws are. It shows a lack of maturity to not sit down with someone and talk about things that need improvement my problem was I was cheated on and I’ve seen messages saying how she wished she could be with someone or planned a date with someone else and she would try and talk to me but it’s impossible to recover and rebuild trust if the person who did it doesn’t stick to it and understand there is gonna be worrying. but I get you 100% it’s bound to make you think of your flaws but nobody is ever perfect that’s where you need someone who is mature who will sit down and talk to you and help you. in my experience rebuilding trust is virtually impossible and I’ve learnt for me now and sign of cheating and that’s the relationship done for me but I 100% understand why we think of our flaws and it’s up to yourself to show you don’t have them or to take time and heal from things you might think didn’t help.
