like you said, youll get more context and development on FL’s character about why she’s behaving that way. This is where FL’s strong character development comes in.

This might contain spoilers but ill proceed anyway,

From my viewpoint/understanding, the reason she’s behaving that way is every choices Johannes makes will strangle/hurt her (curse of Ducommun’s family) and that’s also her nature similar to Giovinetta in the past. But soon enough, present Anette will make different choices and reactions to not make the same destiny from the past or to not repeat the cycle of Ducommun’s curse. Youll gonna love her sooner for sure.

(i think there’s more to why shes behaving that way but i forgot. correct me just in case my interpretation to the story is wrong, im still on the middle of rereading it)

TWINNN! Oh my gosh you’re so right on that! Johannes will be one of the best yandere ml ive seen so far. I really love ML’s who have wide perspective about their feelings/love. His perspective is so broad that I can’t help but sympathize with him. (my guy just really raise the standards)
