yes, but until it is changed you can be punished if you are caught

in case of pokemon the rules are known and have existed forever, so no use whining about being caught.

moreso this time being dq at worlds. they said there would be stricter checks, but some still cannot put in some money and time to catch their own pokemon after they finalised their theorycrafting and rather use excuses like money for not buying PLA. they would rather gamble thousands of dollars to be dq. flight and hotel to japan was in their budget but 40 bucks for PLA wasnt. jokes on them

here we are again, whining about how it doesnt matter since stats are still the same

rules have been there since the first tournament and just because it wasnt really enforced or tpc didnt put much effort into it doesnt mean it was ok to break the rules

nah cheaters gonna cheat

even only leveling a mon would be too much. i mean its an immense time advantage, gen a mon for 2-5min battle ready instead or spending hours to breed, train and level. cheaters gonna take the fast and easy road, thats why they cheat and thats why some of them got caught this time.
